The Monster of Farkenschwein.

Oh my god! It's the Monster of Farkenschwein! Isn't it gruesome :)?
I made this illustration for the Halloween contest on Comik.nl, a really nice website
for people who like  to read or make comics. This one comes with a story, ahum:

It's about a friendly greengrocer who unleashes his horrible, self-made, half swine-half human creature once a year to go and feed itself on children who walk the doors for candy on Halloween. The greengrocer uses the fertilizer the creatures produces the morning after to sprinkle over his vegetable garden, his secret for the perfect fruits and vegetables!

If you can read Dutch, check out the whole story here:

Off course, you can take a look at the other entries also.

Big, glassy eyes?! Flying sheep?!! Guess what, it's just fragments of my new, surreal drawing called 'Disruption'. I started working on it today and it's getting really (really!) awesome. I think about making a painting of it later... Anyway, if you want to see more of this one later: Stay tuned!

A drawing of Marijke Helwegen

I just finished my drawing of Marijke Helwegen, a Dutch celebrity known mainly as an icon for plastic surgery. But she's one of my favorite Dutch celebrities because of her open and unique personality. I already drew her head during a long, boring subject at school but today I came across it as I was paging through my sketchbook, and I thought I'd might as well finish it.
